🧾Guide on CIMA Prudential Information Survey

The Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (hereinafter referred to as "CIMA") of Cayman Islands has issued the Prudential Information Survey (ADR-046-75-02) for all entities registered as "Registered Persons". The information collected will assist the Authority in assessing sector-specific activities, exposures and associated risk areas for Registered Persons operating in or from within the Cayman Islands. The data obtained will support the Authority’s efforts to enhance the resilience, transparency and prudential soundness of the investment business sector.

To assist you in fulfilling this obligation efficiently and accurately, please refer to the following guidelines:

  • The survey must be submitted via the REEFS portal. Accounts for this system are typically held by licensed entities such as Registered Agents, Licensed Attorneys, or Licensed Auditors

  • The reporting period covered January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025.

  • The submission deadline is March 31, 2026.

Note: the introduction of the Prudential Information Survey does not replace the requirement for Registered Persons to submit the Annual Declaration (ADR-046-75). For assistance or understanding if you fall under as Registered Persons, we are here to assist.
