Navigating the New Standard: A Guide to Singapore’s 2026 Compliance Landscape
For years, Singapore’s corporate ecosystem was defined by a degree of flexibility—an "unwritten buffer" that allowed businesses a small margin for error. As we move into 2026, that era has officially concluded.
With the full implementation of the Corporate Service Providers (CSP) Act and the CLLPMA 2024, the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) has signaled a shift toward "Zero-Tolerance Compliance."
At Adept, we believe that a company’s health is reflected in its punctuality. This year, the stakes have never been higher: from the removal of traditional "month-end" grace periods to significantly increased penalties for registry inaccuracies, "close enough" is no longer good enough. This guide outlines the critical deadlines for 2026, helping you safeguard your business while maintaining the high standards of governance that your stakeholders expect.
2026 Deadlines Overview
Assuming a standard 31 Dec 2025 FYE for these companies, here are the critical dates for the 2026 filing season:

Some new changes in Singapore you might have missed:
A. The "New" No-Grace-Period Rule (Critical)
As of January 2026, ACRA has removed the "End of Month" grace period.
• Old Rule: If your deadline was 15 July, you could often file by 31 July without a penalty.
• New 2026 Rule: If the deadline is 15 July, a penalty is triggered on 16 July. Deadlines are now calculated to the exact day.
B. RORC Annual Confirmation
Don't forget the Register of Registrable Controllers (RORC). While you maintain this internally, you must ensure the information on the ACRA central register is updated within 2 days of any changes, and it is best practice to confirm its accuracy during the AR filing process.
C. Data Protection Officer (DPO) Appointment
Every company must have a DPO or outsourcing this to a nominee DPO. This is a good time to check if your entities have filed DPO, as this is a common compliance "gap" in multi-company groups.
Our goal at Adept Corporate Services is to handle these above complexities and keep you informed of any new regulatory changes, so you can focus on your business growth. Contact us either on WhatsApp or Email now!
